As a local, family-owned business, we take great pride in giving back to our local community with donations and initiatives in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
With our charity initiative Making Waves, we donate $10 per completed service call to a different local nonprofit every month. We believe we can make waves in our community–one drop at a time!
Your Service Call Supports our Charity of the Month
Charity of the month: Fore Her
Throughout October, Tru Plumbing and Gas is proud to partner with Fore Her through our Making Waves monthly charity initiative.
For every completed service call, Tru Plumbing will donate $10 to Fore Her.
Fore Her provides financial assistance to local individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment, helping with essential expenses such as rent or mortgage payments, utilities, and some auto repairs.
Your service call does more than solve a plumbing problem. This month, it helps support a neighbor facing breast cancer.

Healing Paws for Warriors
Learn more about Healing Paws for Warriors (opens in a new tab)Healing Paws for Warriors (HP4Ws) is a local veteran-founded/veteran-led 501(c)(3) that provides rescued to trained service dogs to veterans faced with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST) at no cost to the veteran, helping to reduce the statistic of veteran suicide and increase self and family health and wellness.
HP4Ws rescues dogs from shelters that have undergone an evaluation to determine their suitability as a service dog. During training of the new service dog and veteran, HP4Ws provides instruction, certification, equipment, and veterinarian care at no cost to the veteran. More importantly, HP4Ws creates a bonded team of a Veteran and K-9, saving lives at both ends of the leash.
